Straatorgel Mars medley: Koning Voetbal / K.L.M. mars / Stadion mars Deze LP dateert van rond 1973. Dit valt op te maken uit de opmerking van de verteller dat het Van Gogh Museum "under construction" is. Het museum ging namelijk in dat jaar open. Verder lever ik u in vol vertrouwen over aan deze keurige gids, voor meer informatie over het Amsterdam van de jaren 70. De naar mijn menig minder interessante deuntjes tussen de gesproken teksten in heb ik er uitgeknipt. Van "de achterkant": "Verrassend Amsterdam - Europa's beste toegangspoort. In 1973 The Van Gogh Museum opened it's doors. For more information about Amsterdam in the seventies I can leave you in the reliable hands of the gentleman on the record. The tracks in between the spoken wordn were filled with less interesting music. So I've cut that out. From the backside: "Surprising Amsterdam - Europe's finest gateway. 2. "Stadsbeiaardier Bernard Drukker op het carillon van de Munttoren in Amsterdam en het stads theaterorkest onder leiding van Lex van Weren" Hier botsen twee totaal verschillende muzikale werelden. Ik moest zelf éven wennen.

Sommige dingen moet je voor zichzelf laten spreken. Echter, Bernard Drukker (1910 - ?) is een belangrijke figuur geweest voor het onderwijs op het electronisch orgel. Hij introduceerde het instrument als hoofdvak op het conservatorium. Hij maakte al zijn arrangementen zelf en deze versie van La Comparsa (E. Lecuona) heeft hij opgenomen in 1968 op het radio-concert van de Nederlandse Radio-Unie (voorloper van de NOS). Dit in de V.S door de firma Möller Organ Compagny gebouwde "transportabele" orgel was destijds qua omvang en mogelijkheden één van de grootsten ter wereld en stond in de Tesselschade kerk in Hilversum. Drukker laat hier veel van de klankmogelijkheden horen.
Sometimes recordings just speak for themselves. However, Bernhard Drukker (1910 - ?) has played an important role for the dutch electronic organ education. He introduced the instrument at the dutch conservatoria (music academies). He wrote all of his arrangements himself and this version of La Comparsa (E. Lecuona) was recorded in 1968 on the radio-concert organ of the National Dutch Radio, which was built in the U.S. by Möller Organ Compagny. This "transportable" organ was one of the largest in the world. In this song Drukker demonstrates many of the sound possibilities.
